Good day to you!
The ultrasound report here says that there are multiple 2 to 3mm nodules which may be suggestive of something known as "regenerative" nodules. So in cirrhosis of
liver one of the changes that happens is that because of the constant changing of dead liver tissue into new tissue, nodules can form. Therefore the term "regenerative" because it's dead tissue trying to be thrown out and replaced.
So in this case what I would suggest is you monitor it closely and revisit the USG after 3 to 6 months and recheck the size of the nodule if it is growing or not. If the nodule is growing then I would suggest an MRI scan or a cytological study of the nodule.
Next Steps
recheck the size of the nodule after 3 to 6 months to look for change in size of the nodule.
