Chronic Pain in arms- forearm, bicep etc

2025-06-25 05:26:23
I have been experiencing a dull ache and soreness/weakness, primarily in my bicep area, back of bicep, muscle above the elbow, shoulder and upper half of my forearm for around 30 days now. Initially it started with my left arm, but recently right arm also showing similar symptoms. Mild weakness somewhat extends to the pinky and ring finger areas (4th and 5th fingers). Pain and soreness area and intensity keeps changing throughout the day. Sometimes experience a burning pain in muscles, whereas other times its a dull ache. Also sometimes the pain extends to the neck, but not very frequently. After Initial doctor consultation, taking vitamin b12 and d3 supplements since past 15 days. Doing arm nerve glide or flossing exercises but situation did not improve. Please suggest what could be the issue here and next steps. Thanks.

as per the symptoms, it's more on the neurological side ,mostly involving c5&c6 levels of your cervical spine..primarily what you should do if 1.) keep neck flexion/extension movements to minimal. 2.)Avoid the pillow. 3.) hot water packs for pain relief + medication..
Next Steps
next course of action-in the meantime, you can get an MRI cervical spine done at your convenience & visit ur nearest orthopedic/neurologist.
Health Tips
helpful.tip--untill then, you can wear a cervical collar/support to ease the pain to certain degree alongside using meds

Will need evaluation to find the cause and treat accordingly . Get an EMG/NcV study from a nearby hospital , could be a compression, another thing to rule out would be MRI cervical spine ( but later if emg/ncv has no findings ) Meanwhile start on tab. nervijen P or Tab PregabNT at night time only for 7 days plus tab EvionLC after lunch for 15 days . Continue your current supplementation of calcium and vitd along with physiotherapy
Next Steps
EMG/NCV BOTH UPPER LIMBS
