Chipping of tooth

2023-03-04 07:00:11
My 4 year old son chipped his tooth yesterday evening as he fell down while playing. Although he is not complaining of any pain but his tooth seems to have sliced vertically but is still connected and has not broken off. Broken part of his tooth is moving when touched with hand( attached a pic for reference) I consulted a dentist in the morning today and he said that we should wait for the tooth to break off on its own or till the child complains about a lot of pain. I fear if there will be any infection due to this or any complications. Please take a look at the pic and advise what should I do.

I would advise you to not wait. It would be better to start treatment. Also you need to get the tooth under the milk tooth checked. You may need few x-rays.  Visit a pedodontist or a dentist. Hope this helped
