Hi, My husband is suffering from chickenpox. Please help me understand what food to avoid and what food helps recovery faster from chicken pox. Also wanted to know if the chicken pox will spread to my baby (8 months) as he was holding her for a day before we realised he had the infection. Thanks, Deepika

It is a simple viral infection. No specific restrictions. Only thing is that it should be less spicy, less oily, light, easily digestible food. Try to have curds because it is a natural probiotics. For your child, it is better to keep him separate now. If it is not a joint family I don't know how you can isolate your child.
