Hello madam Cavity small means it needs conservative treatment is required I.e. filling . It will get deep if not filled at right time. Simple filling needs 15 min. If dentist finds it's deep then xray followed by rct which takes single sitting or twice. Regards Dr Parul Rai

A cavity filling costs anything between 800-1200 INR depending on the extent of the cavity and tooth involved.Even the smallest of cavities need to be cleaned and filled else they progress to bigger cavities over a period of time.
Next Steps
Meet your dentist so a thorough checkup and assessment can be made as several times patients come for cavity fillings but after xrays it turns out to be a tooth that needs a root canal.

Namaskaram, Dental caries is an infectious disease process that results in damage to the various layers of the tooth: the outer enamel, inner dentin and even the cementum (outer root material) of teeth. In a nutshell, or more precisely in a susceptible tooth, bacteria metabolize (convert) sugars from your diet into acids that damage the tooth structure, resulting in cavities.Cost and time depends on expertise. Yes, restoration(filling) has to be done as the tooth is the only part of the human body that can't repair itself.

There are many types of fillings..if you go for permanent filling like composite it will costs you 1000 to 1500. It took only 15 min..bt it depends on your cavity size. Cavity is spreading in nature so its good to have done as earlier as possible.
