Yes. This is possible. It is a known sequel in some people. The thin layer that is formed just at the back side of the lens implant (IOL) is called as PCO or posterior capsular opacity. This can be very easily and painlessly cleared away in few seconds by Nd YAG Laser. If cost is an issue, it can be done for almost free in government or some trust hospitals. It is safe, go ahead and get it done.
