How to treat carpal tunnel syndrome? What are its causes and is it dangerous if left untreated? Pls reply

Carpal tunnel syndrome initially can be  treated conservatively. Later  on , if not attended, surgery  may be needed.

Muscle atrophy, weakness/paralysis,  anaesthesia/paraesthesia and pins and needles are the side effects if left untreated. Treatment is first conservative, then with surgical decompression reserved for special cases.
Next Steps
Causes are many but edema associated with thyroid issues, diabetes and pregnancy being commonly seen.
