Hi dear. .you can go ahead with preventive filling like glass ionomer tooth colored filling. .or composite tooth colored filling. . They are the least invasive and safe dental treatment options. .rest of the treatment as rct and extraction require a written consent from the concerned gynaecologist

Get a dental consulation asap...a safer period for dental treatment  is 2nd trimester...your dentist may schedule your appoinments during that period if there is any complex procedures involved..simple procedures may be done now itself...

Any dental procedures are avoided in 1st and 3rd trimester (first 3 months and last 3 months). 2nd trimester is safe for some dental procedures. Again if the dental decay is small, it can be done at any time. More complex procedures needs to be done under safe periods.

Hi, Considerin you are 8 week pregnant any dental treatment should be done after written consent from your gynaecologist. If decay is superficial then you can go for tooth colored filling .but if deep then after cosent from gynac treatment shoule be done.

Caries in teeth need to be evaluated clinically and radiographic investigation, due to 8th month of pregnancy radiographic procedures are avoided,  2nd trimester is considered safe for some dental procedures.  If caries is not deep caries excavation and proper restoration can be done.  If it is deep and painful symptomatic treatment can be planned, but need to be discussed with your dentist and gynecologist before any treatment planning.
Next Steps
Discuss with your dentist and gynecologist.
Health Tips
Clean the food being stuck in the caries lesions.
