Hello sir... Based on the radiological examination the cavity looks close to pulp...the pain may arise in future if the cavity reaches the pulp in future... so you can go filling with calcium hydroxide sub base which will helps to forms a protective layer over the pulp..... If pain arise in future you can go with ROOT CANAL TREATMENT AND CAPPING....
Next Steps
kindly visit dentist for furthur clinical examination and management

Actually pain is not the criteria sometimes it may so happen that there may not be any pain even if nerve is involved.so root canal is not our choice but will depend on the extent of decay. Whatever it is it is important to save the tooth.so please don’t delay.

Food impaction and sensitivity indicates a carious tooth (decay). Fortunately you don’t have pain which might mean that the decay has not yet progressed to the pulp tissue.

Hello sir, since it's not involving pulp but deep you may go for a filling with base. But in the future if pain arises you may have to go for root canal.

Hi,although the caries doesn't look deep, but ultimately root canal treatment would be the bwst permanent option if you would like to save the tooth.
