Career Problem

From the past few months, i on a feeling of gulit and mistakes for not properly working on my career and my life. I am 27 years old, I got graduated on 2017, and after a gap of 1 year i joined a professional course on 2018. I had a good interest to learn and work in that professional course. But it didn't go well with studies, but i gained many knowledge while working in that field for which i have opted the professional course. From 2018 to 2023, it's already 6 years have been passed, I haven't completed my course yet and the reason is due to a year gap in studies, money making mentality, procasination and delaying things have led to this bad situation. Where i can only accept the pain of lossing precious 6 years of my life, which i purely wasted and never concentrated about my studies and career. Due to a huge gap of not studying, i am not able to re start the study phase again, i don't know, but i couldn't. I want to study harder, but i couldn't. This hurts me alot and i have lost.

It's common to experience guilt about perceived shortcomings in your career. Remember that your worth is not solely determined by your professional achievements. Acknowledge your efforts and accomplishments, both big and small. Reflect on realistic goals, prioritize self-compassion, and be open to seeking support if these feelings persist. Balancing self-care and professional growth is essential, and it's okay to reassess and adjust your expectations to align with your overall well-being.
Next Steps
If implementing these strategies feels overwhelming or you find persistent challenges with finances and career, reaching out to a psychotherapist can be a positive step. They can provide a supportive space to explore underlying issues, develop coping strategies, and work towards a healthier relationship with both your finances and career. Remember, seeking help is a proactive and empowering choice on your journey to well-being and personal growth.
Health Tips
Addressing procrastination: 1. Break tasks into smaller, manageable steps. 2. Set specific, realistic deadlines. 3. Identify and address underlying reasons for procrastination. 4. Use time management techniques, such as the Pomodoro Technique. 5. Seek an accountability partner for support and motivation. Managing the relationship with finances: 1. Create a budget to understand income, expenses, and savings goals. 2. Prioritize financial goals and set achievable milestones. 3. Track spending to identify patterns and make informed decisions. 4. Establish an emergency fund for unexpected expenses. 5. Consider consulting a financial advisor for personalized guidance.

I'm sorry to hear that you're feeling this way. It's important to acknowledge that everyone's journey is unique, and setbacks are a part of life. Reflecting on your experiences and the challenges you've faced can be an opportunity for growth. Instead of dwelling on the time that feels lost, consider focusing on the present and future. Break down your goals into smaller, manageable steps. Seeking support through counseling can provide valuable insights and coping mechanisms.
