I like how you are so concious about your hygiene but there is no such thing as cleaning cap....make sure you see your dentist if any margins are open or if you have complaint of food lodgement otherwise just go for normal scaling and polishing.

Hello, There’s no such process as cleaning your cap. However you can keep it healthy by brushing, flossing. And it’s also advisable to change your cap minimum 10 years after you’ve placed it because your bone and the adjacent structures changes or modifies slightly with age.

If it’s 2015 that u got your cap then better get it replaced cos in every 7yrs gums and bone to change its position so get it checked

No, there’s no such thing as cap cleaning. You just have to maintain the oral hygiene properly, brush twice a day, floss regularly. Get a dental check up done every 6 months. The cap will have some space eventually, when the natural bone loss is there. So after 8-10 years, you’d have to get it changed. Depends on your condition. So if your food is getting lodged in that area where the cap is fixed, get the cap changed.

In fixed Prosthesis like cap, you can't remove it by yourself. So, you cannot clean the cap. If food lodgement is there, then do use Interdental brush and dental floss to remove that Maintain oral hygiene. Warm saline rinses thrice a day.
