Clonazepam (clonotril) can affect the autonomic nervous system and the gut, leading to: • Increased bowel movements • Stomach irritation • Increased anxiety rebound → which can also trigger diarrhoea Although it’s not a typical side effect, it has been reported in some people.

Loose motions are not a common or direct side-effect of Clonotril (clonazepam). Clonazepam mainly affects the nervous system not the gut. So when someone develops loose motions soon after starting it, we usually consider other explanations: A separate stomach infection or food intolerance Anxiety-related bowel hyperactivity (very common) Interaction between your current medications or timing of doses Sensitivity to additives in the tablet (rare but possible) To understand the real cause, I need more details: •Your exact dose of Clonotril •Whether you are taking any other medicines •How many episodes of loose motions you had •Any abdominal pain, nausea, fever, or recent food changes •Why Clonotril was started (sleep issue / panic / palpitations / anxiety?) Without this information, giving a medicine recommendation here would be unsafe. But this is definitely something that can be sorted quickly with proper evaluation. What you should do next I can guide you step-by-step whether to continue Clonotril, adjust timing, or check for another cause. For that, kindly connect with me directly On whatsapp at Nine Three Two Six Zero Two Zero Five Three Six, so I can understand your symptoms properly and give a personalised plan that is safe for you. A short detailed discussion usually solves it within minutes.

Clonotril (clonazepam) does NOT usually cause loose motions. It is not a common side effect. Your loose motions are likely due to food, infection, stress, or something you ate, not clonotril.
