Can ARV boosters be taken on 0,4

My uncle was bit by a monkey recently. He had been already vaccinated 4 years back due to dog bite at district hospital. He had the first booster but can the second booster (the one on day 3) be taken on day 4, due to no availability or we must procure it from somewhere and give it on day 3 only, to be safe?

According to your sign and symptom and treatment history any rabies vaccination should be take on the basis of post exposure prophylaxis shedule But if you have missed the any dose on the perticular shedule then you can take that dose on the next day.
Next Steps
You can take that missed  dose on the next day .
Health Tips
Please keep record of any vaccination.

After 4 years of vaccination if a person suffers from an animal bite then he has to take ARV afresh. That means he will have to take all the six doses on the day  0, 4, 7, 14, 30, and 90 . They are not known as boosters.
