Burning sensation while intercourse

I had vaginal infection few days back. But now i am facing burning sensation while intercourse, it seems like the middle part of vaginal opening and anus has thousands of cuts. But normally i am not facing any issue. Will it solve over time or should i seek for medical assistance?
