Burning sensation in stomach for 2 days

2022-07-14 10:36:59
I was diagnosed with chronic gastritis on June 20th and my doctor suggested me to take hp kit for 14 days. After that he has suggested me to take isozole dsr along with digene for a month, it's been almost a week since I have started taking isozole and I have been feeling well until Tuesday, when I was coming back from work at night and I started feeling some burning sensation in my stomach, the burning sensation was all over my stomach and even felt that little in the chest for a while... I have been taking cold milk or curd since then. The burning sensation isn't permanent, it's on and off. i didnt have it today but then when i finished cooking food in the heat, i started having the burning feeling again. I am not sure why is it happening. Is it common to experience it while taking the medicine or is it a side effect of the medicine? Should i stop taking it? or is it due to the hot summer? as i normally work in air-conditioning all day. please suggest what to do? adding my report

It is side effects of medicines.  It is a part of the disease process. Please continue with your medicines.

There is erosion in your gastric mucosa at the antral region due to the effect of H. Pylori bacteria that lives in your gut and compromises the integrity of the mucosa rendering it exposed to the action of gastric acid causing the burning sensation. It can be managed with apt medication and a little bit of lifestyle modification. Consult for better management.
