Breathing difficulty

Hi I'm 31 years old I have a breathing issue shortness of breath and wheezing 4 years back doctor suggested to take formonide 200 rotacapsule for 3 months but still there is no improvement so I took it for 4 years now also I'm using if I get difficult is that ok or i should consult again? Is that medicine safe
