Yes the mother can take paracetamol 500 2-3 times a day along with adequate nutrition and hydration even if she is breast feeding. Paracetamol is not going to interfere with the breast feeding in any possible way if taken in proper doses . It have very less chance of harming the baby in any way.

Happy to guide. She can take paracetamol 500 2-3 times a day for approx 2 days. Along with pcm she should take rest and plenty of fluids.  By maintaining hygiene,  she should continue breastfeeding which can help empty the breast and reduce mastitis. She should monitor temperature of her fever ups and downs. every 4-6 hrs.  It's also better to monitor baby's condition. If not relieved and the fever persists, she must take medical advice by a qualified doctor. Fever may be due to Respiratory  infection, breast infection-mastitis, Urinary tract infection, GIT infection or other causes.
Next Steps
If fever especially temp > 38°C persists for more than 24 hours, severe headache, rash, breathing  difficulty or any other persistent discomfort, get immediate  medical attention.
