Definitely your dental asymmetry can be corrected. If lip asymmetry is due to teeth, it will be corrected. You orthodontist will evaluate you and will be able to tell you the amount of correction before treatment.  Braces are only as painful as a 11 year old child can tolerate. Pain is mild and will last 2 to 3 days every appointment.  But patients usually get used to it by the third appointment. No pain, no gain!
