I am on the following BP medications - Concur AM at bedtime My BP is under control and my last echo and ECG was also normal. Lipid profile is also normal. My doctor has also asked me to add Telma H in the morning because I am overweight. I don't want to take more medications , is there a benefit to add this.

If your doctor has  added telma H in addition to the present medication ,he may have a reason for it,most likely uncontrolled blood pressure.Telma H is not related to weight loss.Your doctor is the best person to give you a proper explanation for adding the medicine.
