BP at 37 weeks pregnancy

2024-03-07 09:37:23
Hi, i am 37 weeks my due date is next week. I had a last consultation yesterday where my diastolic was a bit high above 90 but below 100. My systolic blood pressure was well within 140. Diastolic also fluctuates everytime i took reading but above 80. My BP though out has been normal. I wanted to go for planned surgery next week but due to fluctuations in BP its been suggested to go for eatlier surgery Please can you guide if both diastolic and systolic should be high or even if diastolic is high i need to go to emergency. Thanks a lot.

Diastolic is more important. If it's above 90 then you should go for early surgery
