Doctor cyst removal surgery ke time bone grafting bole hai, mai bone grafting nhi chahta pr doctor bol rhe rhe bone grafting bhut jruri hai. Please koi suggestion dijiye.... kya krin? Bone grafting nhi krvane se kya problem ho skti hai jo Docter use bhut jruri bol rhe . Mujhe to bone grafting se fir infection na ho jaye yhi drr lg rha .kitne log cyst remove krne pr bone grafting krate hain aur kya ye problem nhi krega?

Cyst removal ke baad bone grafting har case mein compulsory nahi hoti, lekin agar cyst badi ho aur bone loss zyada ho (21–22 area), to bone grafting better healing aur future support ke liye recommend ki jaati hai.
Bone graft na karwane par bone dheere bharti hai aur volume kam reh sakta hai. Proper care ke saath bone grafting safe hoti hai aur infection ka risk kam hota hai. Final decision cyst size aur clinical condition par depend karta hai.

Yes bone grafting is required because there is a bone resorption due to the cyst. This boney defect is corrected by bone grafting. If you follow proper instructions of doctor after bone grafting there is no chance of reinfections.

Jesa ki aapke dentist ne bola ki cyst removal ke baad grafting ka, because cyst removal ke baad wahan space create ho jayega, kyuki wahan ki bone cyst bnne se resorb ho chuki h, isliyw wahan pr new bone bnne ki liya grafting krni padegi.

Bone grafting is not compulsorily done in periapical surgeries for cyst removal.
It depends on the size of the lesion which can be easily diagnosed with CBCT or even with a combination of IOPA and Occlusal X ray
However if none grafting is indicated there are many types eith most commonly used are synthetic in nature and cannot cause infection.
