Bone fracture

2020-03-19 07:52:37
I had  minor accident in front of my house , but I never knew that I had sustained indisplaced bone fracture. When the incident occurred, the Nurses that attended to me in the hospital said that there was no fracture. Unknown to them and to me that I had a fracture. For one week I was  using hot fomentation on the fracture site in the left leg unknowingly. Please, what is the implication of that or injury can cause .Then, what is the step to be taken to correct t he mistake. Thanks

Undisplaced fracture shouldn't cause much harm in smaller bones Cold packs should have helped than hot
Next Steps
better to share the xray before I comment on prognosis

As long as from now on keep it elevated and apply ice it will help. Consult orthopaedic dr near by if still problematic. Your body heal fracture - it takes 6 weeks to heal- as long as it is not displaced it will be fine. Follow up with another x ray - to make sure it is not displaced - depends on where is the fracture.
