Blue bruise after giving blood samples

2022-11-08 14:01:18
Hi ,..please check why my hands got blue as I gave two times blood samples on same hand for platelates check ? How to reduce this blue spot? Should I apply ice pack or warm compress to reduce this clotting?

In my opinion, no booking of a consultation needed in this case. It looks like just a bruise, little bleeding under the skin due to small blood vessels getting ruptured by the needle. Should resolve itself in a couple of days. Keep a good diet and hydrate well and you will be good to go.

If you do not see it getting better as a bruise normally should, then a Phone/Video consult will be definitely recommended. You can do it at dygnosis-dot-com
