Hello. Can I use a mercury sphygmomanometer on myself to check my blood pressure? Or should I get someone to check my bp?

You can not use Mercury sphygmomanometer on yourself. The method of recording BP on Mercury sphygmomanometer is such that it can not be done on self.
Next Steps
For use on yourself or use at home please use Electronic BP apparatus. it convenient and equally reliable.
