Blood in phlegm everytime

Hello, My hubby gets blood in his phlegm every time h coughs and spits it from around two to three days.  Just wanted to know if this is really serious and treated immediately or can we wait for 1.5 months because h is out of india and will be returning in June. Plz help and do let me know the specialist for the same.

It could be serious. He should get complete blood pic, With ESR, x-ray chest and sputum for AFB done. Details needed, is there any fever  night sweats, loss of appetite? Is he exposed to dust or smoke  fumes, etc Flo lo g hours? Does he smoke?

Waiting for tests and results  he can take tab Ethamyslate 250mg one every 8 hours for 4 to 6 days, to stop bleeding.
