Blood during 8 week of pregnancy

My wife is 8 week pregnant, last week we had intercourse and after 2 day some brown colour blood spotted and done sonography, Dr said sonography report is ok, so I thought it was some other reason. Last night we had intercourse again and noticed some blood, today no blood noticed but some brown colour spotted, is it harmful to baby? our next appointment is next month,is it serious what should I do please suggest, I am very warried.

Intercourse should be avoided in first trimester. Placenta is in lower uterus,cause of bleeding probably.
