its not normal in a 5 yr old kid better to  have checkup done.

It's not normal.. because of improper oral hygiene maintenance gingival (gums) inflammation occurs and it leads to bleeding from gums..

Normally bleeding will not occur during brushing. You can consult a dentist or a physician if required
