Bleeding not stopping completely after C

2025-05-08 15:44:09
Hi, I had a C section on 12 march and it's been 56 days and my bleeding is not stopping completely. From the beginning only I got very less bleeding but it continued till 6 weeks and stopped. Then again after a few days I got it and then stopped and then again today I got it. I told this to my consulting gynac she prescribed SEVISTA 60mg. She said everything looks normal after the physical examination but the ultrasound was not done. I am writing here to ask is this normal? why I am facing this also my stomach still looks big , although my gynac told my uterus is contracted already stomach is big due to my weak core muscle. Please suggest

Get a USG Abdomen plus pelvis done for confirmation Usually it is normal to get bleeding till 6weeks and it seems you have got periods and right medications. So nothing to worry about. Abdominal exercises will be good for lax abdomen.

It is normal to get bleeding for 6 weeks post delivery. You just got your periods back and were prescribed a contraceptive sevista which also regularises periods. For the stomach muscles weakening issue consult a physiotherapist.

Please get a sonography of the lower abdomen done and consult a Gynaecologist with the report.
