Bleeding from Nose & Mouth during sleep

2023-05-01 01:46:32
My mother woke up today having blood in her throat, and after some time the blood came out of nose and mouth as well. The blood was in her throat while she was sleeping. This happened for the first time. She use cold water to take in through nose.  My mother has BP but takes medicine so its normal. Why suddenly this happened? And what to do next?

Apparently it must have started as a nose bleed. Some of the blood collected in the nose and some amount trickled down into the throat. She should have a consultation with an ENT Specialist . She should get a complete health package (including coagulation profile)  done from a reputed Laboratory and have a consultation with a General Physician.
