Hello I have given birth via normal delivery on 6 dec2025.. my 40 days completed on 14 th Jan 2025..but now on 17 jan normal bleeding started again with Lil bit pain in back and stomach (like periods pain) and still bleeding is happening today as wel which is 19 jan..I m giving bottle feeding and pump expressed breastfeed to my baby.I want to know Is this bleeding normal and why it happened after 40 days of my delivery??

When baby is taking only breast feeding then involution of uterus is good. Otherwise it is delayed and this type of problem may occur. Don't worry it will become normal with time.

Bleeding up to 45 days of delivery is perfectly normal That is postpartum bleeding If you delivered on 6th of December you can continue to bleed up to 21st of January
