• Most likely this is benign penile pigmentation / post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation • Common causes: • Previous skin allergy / irritation / friction • Healing after mild inflammation → leaves dark patch • Since no pain, no itching, no discharge, it is NOT suggestive of infection or STD • The appearance in images looks smooth, flat, well-defined → reassuring Next Steps • No aggressive treatment needed if stable • Maintain good hygiene and keep area dry • Do NOT use: • Steroid creams • Strong fairness / bleaching creams • Avoid excess friction (tight clothes, frequent rubbing) • Normal variation: many males have natural darker pigmentation on genitals Kindly consult with me via Practo for detailed evaluation and treatment

Hey there... Hyderabad is not too far away from Bangalore and if visiting, welcome to the Clinic. As per your admission, it is symptom free and not causing you any issues, so leave alone. Yes the pigmentation can be reduced and for cosmetic reasons it can be addressed. You may have some underlying allergies (what we call Fixed drug Eruptions) and one needs to isolate the offending agents and stop 🛑 or avoid them completely to prevent recurrence.
