Biopsy taken from the colon doesn't show any evidence of malignancy, there's some colon infection.The doctor who performed the colonoscopy may have initiated treatment for the infection.

For such technical issues you should also mention the clinical profile of the patient. The doctor who took out the specimen is also the one who did endoscopy. We don't know what all he saw. Not everything can be given in writing. I will not like to comment about the need for chemotherapy. Please discuss the case with the doctor who did endoscopy.
