After surgery for bimalleolar fracture is there malunion of bone in the attached photo. Also if I remove the hardwares what are the chances of refracture?

Fracture is united very well , no malunion . If it’s already 18 months post surgery , you can go ahead with implant removal . Chances of fracture depends on your care .

Implant can be removed after one year of surgery As we plan to remove implant after an year there is very less chance for refracture.
