It usually peaks at day 7-8 and ends by 2 weeks. Exclusive breastfeeding is best for your baby and sleeping 16-20 hours a day.
All u need to confirm and let me know is that was the direct bilirubin 8.9? Indirect bilirubin is expected to rise.
