Hi, I'm an athlete and recently diagnosed with Bilateral Inguinal Hernia. Any good doctors in Bangalore or Chennai? I want to get back to sports. Open or laproscopy? Mesh or without mesh? Kindly suggest.

According to me laparoscopic meshplasty is the best because you can get back to Sports early.... Choose a good laparoscopy centre

Bilateral inguinal Hernia at the age of 30. You have to get evaluated for the cause of hernia. It can be due to strenuous sports activity without proper inguinal support. Or due to straining in toilet, smoking etc
Next Steps
For younger age groups, laparoscopic mesh repair is highly recommended these days. After surgery, you ll have to avoid straining for around 12 weeks. after that you can gradually increase sports activities.
Health Tips
Stop smoking if you do. Avoid straining in toilet. Avoid sports activities to till 3 months after surgery.
