Bed Sore problem

Father is having bed sore in buttock area. He is bedridden from multiple problems . I think its in stage 2 We are using air mattress . Position change etc. Started using hydrogel AM . What else treatment required . kindly advise

Root cause in your patient is multiple comorbidity conditions. If he has diabetic, then it needs to be checked regularly and controlled it. First you need to control the associated major diseases. Unless it’s controlled, it won’t subside.

Keep the area moist Prevent further trauma to that area Regular position change Good nutrition Check for local infection if any If increasing degree of bedsores then expert opinion
