How long is the barthodian Cyst surgical excision Procedure ? Is it a day care process or does the patient need to stay overnight after the surgery? If patient need to stay overnight, how long is that for? Thanks

Excision of  Bartholin cyst (removal of the whole gland) is a  half hour procedure. It is done under regional anesthesia.  If it is done in the morning time  ( by 11 AM) then the patient can go home in the evening.  Otherwise she goes home next day. Post operative care is simple.  Patient can do it at home.
