Hello sir, Bad breath is also known as Halitosis. It can be because of multiple reasons. CAN I KNOW SINCE WHEN ARE YOU EXPERIENCING THI PROBLEM ?? The most common one is poor oral hygiene as stated by my fellow doctors. Please brush your teeth twice a day and also clean your tongue properly. Use mouthwash in follow up. Don’t forget to change your brush every 3-6months. The second cause can be any teeth which has caries ,any broken tooth or third molar impaction. There is food lodged in these areas which decays there causing bad breath. The third reason can be because of habits such as smoking, chewing tobacco (IF ANY). If so, then the habits needs to be tapered initially , eventually discontinuing. The fourth cause can be Xerostomia. It is when you experience dry mouth. DO YOU HAVE ANY SUCH COMPLAINT ?? Other reason can be because of any underlying health issue if none of the above reasons stand and
Next Steps
Change the oral hygiene habits and see if halitosis subsides, otherwise I would advise to visit a dentist to check and treat any other underlying causes.
Health Tips
Try to avoid food items that add to bad breath like garlic and onions. Mouthwash regularly so that the bacteria that causes bad breath are eliminated. Take care.

Hi The most commom cause for bad breath is poor oral hygiene. Visit your dentist get a scaling done and any fillings. Follow good oral hygiene by brushing twice a day, flossing and tongue cleaning. If inspite of all this the problem does not subside then we will have to look at other not so common causes.
