Back pain for a few days (without injury mentioned) is most commonly: • Muscle strain • Posture-related pain • Age-related spondylosis However, before suggesting medicine, important questions: Does she have: • Fever? • Burning urine? • Leg weakness? • Severe pain radiating to leg? • History of fall? If none of these → likely simple muscular back pain. Since she has BP, we must be careful with painkillers. Many common painkillers (Diclofenac, Ibuprofen) can: • Raise BP • Affect kidneys • Interact with other medicines
Next Steps
First line (safer options): ✔ Paracetamol 650 mg (after food), up to 2–3 times daily ✔ Local pain relief gel ✔ Hot water bag 15–20 mins ✔ Gentle back stretching Avoid immediately: ❌ Diclofenac ❌ Aceclofenac ❌ Strong NSAIDs without doctor advice If pain is severe, a doctor may prescribe: • Muscle relaxant combination (short course) • Safer NSAID depending on kidney & BP status
Health Tips
✔ Check BP regularly while in pain ✔ Ensure adequate hydration ✔ Avoid bed rest — gentle movement is better ✔ Support lower back while sitting Important: You mentioned hallucinations 10–12 days ago and psychiatric medicines. Some psychiatric medications can cause: • Muscle stiffness • Back tightness • Postural changes So medication review may also be needed. Before giving stronger medicine, I need to know: • Your mother’s age • Exact BP medicine name • Any diabetes or kidney issues? • Where exactly is pain (lower back / upper back)? Since multiple medications are involved, I strongly recommend booking an online consultation so we can check drug safety properly before adding any pain medicine. This avoids complications and ensures safe treatment for her.

Please share details of her pain. She can take tab flexon m.r one every 8hours for 4 to 5 days, after meals. She should avoid bending and sideward turning. She should get mri lumbosacral spine,  done to know the underlying cause and share results.
