Physiotherapy can be effective in treating cervical pain. The first step is to undergo a thorough assessment to determine the cause of the pain. The physiotherapist will ask you questions about your symptoms and medical history, and perform a physical examination to assess your range of motion, muscle strength, and any areas of tenderness. Based on the assessment, your physiotherapist may recommend a variety of treatments, including: 1. Manual therapy: Hands-on techniques such as massage, mobilization, and manipulation can help relieve pain and stiffness in the neck. 2. Exercise therapy: Specific exercises can help improve your range of motion, strengthen the muscles in your neck and upper back, and improve your posture. 3. Modalities: Various modalities such as heat, ice, ultrasound, or electrical stimulation may be used to reduce pain and inflammation. 4. Education: Your physiotherapist may provide education on posture, ergonomics, and lifestyle modifications to help prevent future episodes of cervical pain. It's important to follow your physiotherapist's advice and complete your prescribed exercises and treatments to achieve the best results.

Back pain is common. If you don't have any known health issues, start with walking 20-30 minutes twice a day as exercise.  If this gives relief, then slowly increase the duration. If this doesn't help, consult a physiotherapist.

Agree with all other opinions. Please seek local treatment. If the pain is not traveling down the leg, it could resolve quicker.
