To my understanding from the question, the baby is born at 36 weeks completed age (late preterm) and hence corrected age was used
At this age
We expect the baby to sit in tripod position, able to grasp objects and bring to mouth, try to push forward and crawl when their soles are supported. Your baby is able to do all these milestones and need not worry
Regarding food
Weaning is recommended after 6 completed months of age. You can start with 1 meal per day and then gradually increase to 2-3 meals per day and each time baby should be able to take 2-3 tablespoons of food in puree consistency. Babies take some time to adjust to new foods and keep trying consistently. Start with home based foods, fruit and vegetable purees which are easy to accept
