I have low b12 since a year taking tablets didn't help me. For taking b12 injections is doctor prescription is needed?

Oral formulation might not have helped due to malabsorption . And yes , prescription by a registered medical practitioner is needed for Inj Vit B12 . Please consult on Practo for the same .

On taking oral medication if b12 levels doesn't improve probably their is malabsorption of b12 which requires evaluation. Yes prescription is required for injections , plz consult for the same.
