Sometimes  there is a possibility of having pain originating from cervical region radiating towards upper limb including shoulder, arm.. Is there any tingling numbness in upper limb.
Next Steps
Pls start with hot fomentation,  take analgesic with muscle relaxant tablet, avoid heavy work, avoid jerky movements of neck.
