Hello Doctor, Due to cough I consult pulmonology took chest xray it was fine , and recommended to take Augmentin 625 twice a day with DE-ALLERGIC AB in night , I am afraid will get side effects, create kidney problems or liver problems, as of now have issue with firmy urine protine, past took urine test and no protine leak found , eventhough I am afraid will worse kidney or liver , I saw artical as below so can I take as recommended? First day 3 dose started . So will it harm ...

If oral Augmentatin is to be taken for a short duration like 5 to 7 days,it will not cause such severe side effects, although some gastric issues do happen but with a probiotic and antacid it can be covered for,so if symptoms are there and suggested for short duration then don't worry about it
