As far as your ankle pain is concerned, it is important to clinically examine your ankle to find the pathology. Do you have any other joint pains? Sometimes low vitamin D or raised uric acid can cause ankle pain, so blood tests for those may need to be done. Losing weight if you are on the heavier side will also help.
