2-3 months ago, my girlfriend had her ankle twisted while walking on stairs. We went to doctor, they said it's a normal sprain and it will be fine in few weeks, by taking proper rest. But as we are student, we don't get time for continuous bed rest for weeks. The pain is still there. What can be done get rid of pain? Please help

You might had ankle ligament injury. You might need physio - if not settling get MRI scan and consult orthopaedic doctor
