Anger is an emotion which erupts as a way to protect ourselves from any external stress and when our expectations are not met. Such workshops usually take place in personality development workshops, organisations and hospitals dealing with mental health patients. Some MNC companies offer these workshops for their employees benefit to improve their interpersonal skills. Group therapy and programmes are offered by hospitals usually. But such services are limited in our country, and the health providers are just about waking up to the fact that mental health services need to be provided to the general population on a larger scale.
Next Steps
Workshops are short and have limited scope for personal therapy. They aren't usually tailor made to suit all your individual requirements. And you might not be comfortable opening up in front of other people. If nothing is available in your area then a therapist could guide you through your anger while you look around for a workshop.
Health Tips
Know what are your anger triggers, keep your anger for situations which really require your anger. Let go of smaller issues. Have realistic expectations from yourself and everyone else.
