Anesthesia for Embryo Transfer required

Hi Doctor, Can we take anesthesia during Embryo Transfer?does it cause any impact on the embryo or does IVF fail if anesthesia is taken during Embryo Transfer time? can't bear the Pain of speculam and need your advice.

Embryo transfer doees not require anaesthesia but it can be safely done under anaesthesia if u have an issue

It’s better to avoid any unnecessary anaesthetic medication. If pain continues after procedure you can opt for oral painkillers.
