Anembryonic pregnancy

I have been diagnosed with anembryonic pregnancy at 8.5 weeks. I don't have any bleeding till now. In my ultrasound today, gestational sac and yolk sac were seen but no fetal pole was seen. I have been advised to take cytolog tablets and terminate it. I need suggestions on, 1) can I wait for another week and then proceed with termination ? Or is there a risk of infection ? I feel I should give it another week as I have a feeling I ovulated later. 2) are there any precautions I can take for future to avoid this ? Is this because of any deficiency or harmonal disbalance ?

In a 8 weeks pregnancy the fetal pole and the cardiac activity should ideally be there . If it’s a delayed conception then all parameters will be accordingly and then waiting is advisable . Infection risk is more if you wait and also your coagulation disturbances can happen . If you want to be reassured again before going for termination please repeat the usg from another observer in another centre just to be double ascertained
