Good morning!
Anal fissure is a condition similar to ulcer.
The protective mucosal covering opens up due to frictional injury and expose underlying muscle controlling the passage of feces.
Usual symptoms : pain and bleeding
Main treatment is to keep the area clean (sitz bath) and reduce the frictional force (loosening the feces)
Additional treatments include :
Ointments, dietary modification and surgery
